So far we had us one album containing this type of music.
you can find it here.
It is just because of that album I found out tracks two and three
have been switched on label and backsleeve of the record we
have today. The second song is Ursulla with the Black Star
Music Club which we know from the earlier post. I can only
hope that the other songs are the ones given on sleeve and
label and in that correct order. Taarab or ‘Tarabu’ is a type of
music, almost Arabic or Indian. To get a better idea, you should
read the liner notes on the sleeve, just click to enlarge..

Tot nu toe hadden we slechts één plaat met dit soort muziek.
Je kunt hem hier vinden.
Doordat we dit album al kennen ontdekte ik dat titels twee en drie
verwisseld zijn op hoes en label van het album dat we vandaag
hebben. Het tweede nummer is Ursulla en de Black Star Music
Club welke we van de vorige posting kennen. Ik kan slechts hopen
dat de rest van de nummers de juiste zijn en in de juiste volgorde
staan. Taarab of ‘Tarabu’ is een oost Afrikaanse muziekstijl die
veel doet denken aan Arabische of Indiaase muziekstijlen. Om
een beter beeld te krijgen kun je het best de achterkant van de
plaat even lezen, klick erop om hem te vergroten..
