Super Diamono – Cheikh Anta Diop, Celluloid 1989

For the lovers of Senegalese Mbalax, here’s the latest
Super Diamono de Dakar in my collection. It sounds quite a bit
more modern than the previous album we saw.
The music is modern and fresh, the singing of Omar Pene,
as sweet as always.

    Thanks for this. I have pretty much all of the super diamano from the 80’s to the late 90’s, but for this one. I have grown up on these guys and watched my parents dance to their songs, while their LP People and this one marked the beat to my teenage years.
    By the way, where can I get People, if anybody knows?
