‘Jelimusolu’ is what they call Mali’s women singers.
Tata ‘Bembo'(or Bambo) Kouyate is from Bamako. She’s got a voice so
strong, wow ! It’s not exactly clear on what label this LP is brought
out, if you know..?

    An album absolutely African unlabeled, probably edited by the same producer of the album that has paid all the expenses of his own pocket and then distribute it later.
    In this case,later was released again under the name JATIGUI by the Globe Style label.

    She is called “Bambo” for a composition of his youth as indicated biography in…

    According to Graeme Counsel’s discography of Malian vinyl, you seem to have an original copy of this album, the number of which appears to be SA 30 0058. So the label it originally came out on is whatever you can read on it :)
    It would be interesting to know what that label is.

    Thanks for this. Globestyle CDs have a tendency to bronzing and ski pp ing, so I’m glad to get a playable copy of this. (And with the original sleeve.)
