This is incredibly cool. I have a vinyl copy in my collection and just now made a blog entry referring people to your blog.
You might want to double check, but I believe that Felix Chappottin was actually Chano Pozo’s half brother, and I think he played with Arsenio’s band in the 1940’s. When Arsenio moved to New York, his band members formed two groups-Chappottin Y Sus Estrellas, and Chocolate Y Sus Estrellas.
