Mounk’a and Mbilia, my two favorite Congolese vocalists! I have these songs, though not on one CD. Syllart split this album up and released it on two CDs (Pamelo Mounka – L’incontournable & L’essentiel) a few years back.
Thanks,
Alexsam
Was most of pamelo’s singing done in french?

Many thanks for sharing. Apurva from Pune, India.
stellar, classic album. I can’t thank you enough for your efforts. this whole world of neglected and nearly extinct music, presented so generously by you and other, has rekindled my interest jaded by most current releases. it’s also helping me to recover, two years down the road, from profound personal tragedy.
so, thanks. hopefully I will get a site up soon, and begin posting some of my collection.
