Amakye Dede and his Apollo Kings International – Magye Me Girl Coconut Records 1988

Amakye Dede began his career when he joined the Kumapim
Royals as a composer and vocalist. He formed the Apollo Kings
around 1980. He moved to Nigeria and dominated the highlife
scene during 80’s and 90’s. With almost 20 albums to his credit
he now owns a bar in Accra where he helps celebrate live-band
music. Listen to this lp and agree, this ’88 highlife is hot..
