They appear first time at the Groove, we never had any of their
work so far. The white Eagles from Nigeria, fortunately they
sound as black as we hoped for. It’s been some time we had
Nigerian highlife but this one can make up for the hiatus.
A twelve man band with subtle sound, hypnotising
groove with astonishing rhythm, dancing tunes
for your hot summer evening parties,
get it, spread it and play it..
tracks;

Much obliged, Moos.
Looking forward to listening to this one!
Yes! Very nice! Thanks for the chance to play this.
A brilliant LP! Thanks for brightening my holiday afternoon with your find. Hopefully there will be more White Eagles…
Thanks Moos!
Thank you!
Do you have any idea about the date of the release by any chance?

The songs were released between 1976 and the early 1990s in Nigeria. The White Eagles International Band hailed from my home State – Bayelsa, in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. Most of the members are dead and the band is no longer in existence. The members were from the Izon (Ijaw) ethnic group in southern Nigeria, particularly from Sabagreia Town in Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Nigeria.
