  1. Neat stuff, Moos. I especially like Edi bie a sie bie, with its interweaving lines and canon-on-the-eighth start. For those interested, found a second Djeni disc at Cultural Cannibals:

    Can’t say I’ve heard of him, but I’m a relative neophyte at highlife. Got into it after my anterior cervical fusion two years ago; it helped take away the pain. It’s great at that, and bringing joy.

  2. Thank you Moos and thanks Glinka21… if my guess is right, Safohene Djeni is from around the same place as F. Kenya… he has some songs in the Nzema language… this appollos band is different from Dan Amakye Dede’s apollo high kings band

    John LP with the same band that’s even better.
