Lord Kitchener – ’67, RCA International Camden 1967
The late Sixties was the time Calypso flourished the most in my opinion.
This LP sounds a bit like a fireside recording ( lot’s of cracks )
but still, it’s the best calypso I’ve ever heard,
Lord Kitchener is the Master.
tracks;
1 ’67
2 Panorama night
3 Grenadian May
4 Take you’ meat out me rice
5 Get up and get
6 Tobago lollipop
7 Yankee gone
8 No more calypsong
9 Cricket champions
10 Don’t come back again
