Coupé Cloué – Ti Bom, Mini Records 1978

It was december 2008 when I posted some ‘Compas’, music
from Haiti. One of our loyal visitors from Paris gave
me the hint, I didn’t really know about compas. And after
some searching I found a couple LP’s, like this one. This
album from 1978 is a real treat. To you Arnaud, and to all
Compas lovers around the globe. Tomorrow is another
Recordfair in Utrecht, I intend to come home with
a few treasures, stay tuned..

    Thank you for posting this awesome album of Coupe Cloue. I was really looking for it because of the 1st track. I used to hear it a lot when I was a child. Again, thank you. When will you post old senegalese albums like the ones of Youssou N’Dour?

    Love this record! You beat me to it, but I have a couple other Coupé Cloué albums I’ll try and get to soon. Thanks for the digital of this tho!

    One of the best things about living in Montreal is the large Haitian community means a LOT of compas and loads of Haitian records in the used stores.
