If I recall well, many people must be on the look out for
this album. King Sunny Adé made quite a few and we’ve
seen some passing by here. Now here is ‘the Message’.
I have no idea whát the message is and I’m not even sure
I want to know. I listen to music sung in Lingala, Swahili,
Wolof or Griot. I really think sometimes that it’s probably
better I don’t understand every word. I guess it lasts longer,
the lyrics can’t get boring this way, that’s for sure. During
the first track there’s a tiny silence and I could have made
a skipping point but I left it like it was. My message to you,
let music be the force that brings us together,
ain’t nothin’ beating thát !…

Before oil was discovered in Nigeria, we depend on agricultural products for export, however with the discovery of oil, we neglect farming, King Sunny Ade message is simple, neglecting farming will lead to famine and hunger. Twenty nine years, his prediction is right on the dot

I only found your blog today and am amazed at the timeless incredible rare sounds you’ve made available… going through your 2010 archive i could see most of your 2010 uplaods is been wiped of the internet. do you have any plan of re-uploading your old archives ? and also have you consider using torrent as a means of sharing your files ?

hey Portsmouth, indeed they wiped out every last link at Mediafire. I did start uploading again under another account, untill now works fine. You can easily see the working links. They contain the beginlettres from the post. It will take time but eventually all posts will be re-upped. hang in there. I’ll start doing ju soon okay,..thanks for asking..

Hey Moss, I have no idea if you are a man or woman (or both :) but dude loads of respect and admiration for your hard work & generosity. thanks for replying to my post. going through your archive all 2008 to 2010 uploads has been deleted by mediafire and i should be very grateful if you could re-upload some juju music from your 2008 — 2010 collection and more… sorry i couldn’t find any working links with big letters as u stated in your earlier post or maybe i mis-understood what you wrote if you could please elaborate… i will be keeping a keen eye on your juju music updates… Many thanks your Moss Legend !!! your fan from portsmouth, England.
