Lately I’ve become completely demotivated to continue this blog. People do not read any messages I leave and that is annoying me enormously. I asked repeatedly not to request any re-ups for the time being, all I get is ; can you re-up this and can you re-up that ? People keep asking me for the password while it is all over the page. Others keep asking to be linked with their blogs I do not like. I’m getting tired of just being a source where you can suck your discs full and drop your advertisements. I have to reject 50% of incoming comments because it concerns artists, trying to sell their rubbish through my page. I am going to do something else for a while. see you some day later perhaps…

Calm down Moos, all this comes with keeping a blog, its just like parentage, keeping kids comes with all sorts of frustration from their behaviour…am sure the other bloggers have their fair share of problems too….imagine the number of people visiting this amazing blog from all corners of the earth, we cant all think alike, definitely some will go overboard ….but an african proverb says, u cant refuse to drink water just because your child was drowned by a river….dont let the good ones suffer just because of a few bad nuts…look on the brighter side…cheer up….long live global groove!

Dear Moos, they deleted your files but you never gave up.
Dont let this run you down already.
You have seen all types of behaviour since you started blogging, dont let this prevent you from the legacy you are leaving behind.
Am also using this platform to advice patrons of this blog to play by the rules. the pass word is globalgroove. take time to read if you are new here and lets avoid all that Moos has said.
Lets keep Moos strong and fit for the task ahead. he has done a lot for us and the least we can do for him is to play by the rules.

Understandable that you are not in the mood for a lot of this stuff. I say keep on doing it if is your hobby, which it clearly is.
As Ganhdi put it nicely “if you can not change the world, be the change you want to see in the world”.
So if you decide to pursue another hobby, best of luck. If not, keep on doing what you are doing.
I like the music you put in here, but mainly i am here for the community vibe. I do use a few private torrent trackers, they have millions of stuff, but run like corporations and soulless.
Here is my share for you. Nice sound from Ethiopia by Walias Band. Enjoy & have a nice weekend.

Dear Moos,
Sorry I haven’t been around so much lately — and I’m much sorrier that you had so many files wiped out by The Blue Meanies, an example of the very worst sort of cultural vandalism by the “powers” that be, and that there are so many trawling low-life idiots in the world who can’t be bothered to figure out the most basic things about your most magnificent blog. They’re just the same sort of unaware assholes who throw litter on the ground. Bad for the blood pressure, very annoying, but unimportant in the long run/big picture.
Anyway, whatever you decide to do, you have provided an immensely valuable service over the years both to musicians and listeners — and most importantly to the MUSIC — and I thank you very much for it. I’m listening to something I got from you ages ago, King Sunny Ade’s “Juju Music of the Eighties” ‘cos everything goes better with juju (and soukous). I have noticed poking around that quite a few of your older links still work, but haven’t figured out any rhyme or reason to what have survived and what haven’t. That’s Blue Meanies for you — no sense of rhythm!
And thanks for this latest comp in particular along with all your recent efforts under this stress and strain.
Peace and may you live well, DJ Jonathan E. aka Jackdaw

hi Moos, I’m not surprised it’s got you down – it’s been the opposite of a happy new year so far, after the January shock. Take it easy, clear your head and know that you’ll be greatly appreciated by the majority of your blog visitors. Never surrender :)

Moos –
You have already performed a great cultural service in preserving and promoting great art. It is no small thing you’ve done and if the more irritating particulars of the task have now drained your enthusiasm for the project, you’re allowed. You have already contributed and accomplished much.
Thank you for the many hours of work and scholarship you’ve put into this project. We all owe you a great debt.
Regards,
Paul From Ohio
