I've been using Global Groove for music for my gym mix for a few weeks now. It never disappoints. Thanks moos.
Thank You.
Thanks Moos! Thanks for thinking of me: I'm touched! :)
Just had a quick first listen through and it sounds great. Pretty relentlessly upbeat stuff – I'm exhausted just sitting at the table!
abudaiyo
Thanks! Great choice once again.
yann
Moos, I remember when you couldn't get into Haitian konpa. You've come far. However, there are other Caribbean genres such as kaseko and tumba from Suriname and Curacao respectively that I've always hoped that you would post (only the out of print stuff, of course). Maybe one day. Thanks as always.

Alexsam
have you seen Yoyo's posts on Aural Joy ? Some good Surinam stuff..
I have loads of CD re-issues from this group from their heyday in the 50's but I was pleased and surprised to get this one which I'd never seen from the 70s, and presumably never re-issued by Marc Records. A zillion thanks, even with the cheesy keyboard instead of the accordion (their famous lead instrument)!
Thank you!
