Les Shleu-Shleu – Cé La Ou Yé
Haiti Record 1970
I’ve heard somewhere Shleu Shleu was the name of some
mysterious tribe, great. These guys were no part of the tribe
but used their name. Les Shleu Shleu were here before, some
of the songs on this album were also on this album.
Label and sleeve do not agree on what’s a-side and b-side,
I thought I’d better stick to the sleeve’s info so I did.
It does mean the title song of the lp ending up on the b-side
but that’s fine with me. If we listen to these fine songs, we
instantly forget everything else, sweeet Haitian stuff..

Unfortunately not Moos … some bad luck with work over there, back in Rotterdam since 5 months ;-)
I love the records you’ve posted by this band, they always have that slightly ‘otherworldly’ feel…or maybe that’s just me. Anyway, if you come across any more I’d love to hear them. Thanks again.
