Coumbite Créole was Rodrigue Millien’s group. On this
album he is joined by his buddy Jules Similien or Toto.
It seems the latter got his name through the title-song
of this here lp if I’m not mistaking. Very laidback and
easy going record from 1974. It builds up to a little up-
tempo towards the end. Listen and enjoy Coumbite
Créole, Rodrigue et Toto in ‘Nécessité’ ..

    This (and other Mini Records releases) seems to be available commercially in Europe. This would go against your policy of only posting music which is no longer for sale.

    Love that cover, and the music too. Thanks for sharing, not enough people (Outside of Haitians) know how great some of this stuff is!
