Global Sampler vol. 54 – Various Artists

Global Sampler vol. 54, voorkant

De laatste Sampler is alweer twee maanden geleden, vandaag
hebben we opvolger no. 54. Deze compilatie bevat nummers
uit Kenya, Zuid Afika, de Dominicaanse Republiek, Senegal,
Trinidad, Colombia, Congo, Jamaica, Ghana, Brazilië en
Nigeria. Hoe meer smaken, hoe meer luisterplezier naar
mijn mening. Vind je iets mooi, zoek het
dan op middels onze zoekbalk..

    Hello Moos!
I don’t have much time these days but I follow your blog always. There were some very interisting records you shared.
Some time ago you shared ”Tribute to the Roots” of Joe Mensah.
Here you find another (much better) record of him. Again the Sweet Talks are backing him. This time however there are the ”right”Sweet Talks led by Smart Nkansah.

I must be honest, Joe Mensah’s music is not for me, the whole world wants funky funky, I’m sorry I rather hear highllife. It sounds like he wanted to be Fela Kuti..Afro Beat is also not my cup of tea..Thank you for your effort though..
