On elpee I never found very spectacular work by Pat Thomas
so far. The cd ‘Most Historical Album’ I already have long time,
online I found year of release 2000 but it feels I have it much
longer than that. As label we find Sisco on the back but no
number or year what so ever. It goes for huge prices online
but today it is free of charge. I always listened to it with
lots of pleasure and now it is your turn loyal visitors
of the Global Groove, enjoy doing so..

Op elpee heb ik tot nu toe nooit zeer spectaculeir werk van
Pat Thomas kunnen vinden. De cd ‘Most Historical Album’

Pat Thomas – most prominent within the time of Acheampong.
Records of his early career when he performed on the ticket of Ghanian Cocoa Marketing Board (sweet beans = cocoa).
The CD makes us to believe to contain 2 complete records but this isn’t true. ‘Asawa Do’ is complete however ‘False Lover’ is short of tracks (3-It Takes Time + 6-Don’t Beat The Time + 12-Eye Wo Asem Ben).
When JOHN B. (I felt very happy when he re-started) offered his compilation on Feb. 26th, 2009 he shared Don’t Beat The Time but the missing 2 are
    also valueable to listen to.
In total an enjoyable record, thank you Moos. Perhaps John B. completes it which will make all ‘Highlife-Lovers’ most happy.
    Many thanks in advance, Thomas

I know the sweet beans was the band for the government’s cocoa agency…thats why the name beans…from the cocoa beans. Pat Thomas is still evergreen and this album just shows why. Thanks Moos.

    Dear Moos,

Listened only now. What a nice surprise. Very different from the usual Ghanian highlife. Very happy and upbeat. Do you have more of it?

Love it, especially odo San bra, is it possible for someone to post lyrics? Maybe I can find a translation?
