Ebenezer Obey & his International
Brothers Band – In the 60’s vol. 1
Decca (West Africa) 1980
Closing the juju marathon we’ve got us this album of sixties
songs by the great Ebenezer Obey. It was released in 1980
but covers twelve songs from the sixties. Those were the days
he was leading the band under the name Chief Commander Obey
and his International Brothers Band and before changing into the
Inter-Reformers Dance Band. Ebenezer Obey’s real name is
Ebenezer Fabiyi. The 12 songs on this record were all best
sellers throughout the 1960’s, listen and share.
The chief is 76 jaar old at the moment..
in the Inter-Reformers Dance Band. Ebenezer Obey’s echte naam is
Ebenezer Fabiyi.

Thanks for the juju marathon moos! Did you deliberately cover all the generations? I noticed you posted an album from each decade – the 60s through the 90s.
pure coincidence..
Amazing, thank you!
Great to have another Obey album, and one that doesn’t shove anybody’s particular religion at you, either. Thanks!
