Here we go again, from the magical music year 1973 we find
this sweet piece of compas from Haïti. Super Soline d’Haïti is
here with this 8 track album. Not a whole lot of information
is available online but according to Discogs this one is dated
as the first one in 1973. There is a self titled record but
appears to have been released around ’75. If anybody
knows more, let us share your knowledge please ..
I’m sorry the elpee opens with some small snaps.

In the book Konpa Encyclopeida it says, some came from Samba Jazz. And they became more popular then they ever dreamed of. They sounded similar to Les Fantaisistes. About the title track: “the song is very funny and created a buzz and a new slogan among young people”.
