Hello good morning, today we’ve got us some juju with
an artist we haven’t seen here yet. His real name is
Ismaila Ayodele Bello, he used to be an electronic repair
man. After fixing a guitar for King Sunny Adé the latter gave him
the name ‘Ahuja’. Ahuja appeared to be a natural talent and
made a career for himself. I found some articles on him,
check out and listen to Ahuja Bello &
his Golden Eagles Band ..
Goeiemorgen mensen, vandaag hebben we wat juju met een
artiest die we nog niet eerder zagen hier. Zijn werkelijke
naam is Ismaila Ayodele Bello, hij was ooit een electronica
reparateur . Nadat hij een gitaar voor King Sunny Adé
had gerepareerd gaf deze hem de naam ‘Ahuja’. Ahuja bleek
een natuur talent te zijn en begon een muziek carrière voor
zichzelf. Ik vond enkele artikelen over hem. Lees,

This is a fantastic slice of early 80’s juju. I had not heard of him before and he really does need more recognition even if it’s just for that gun shaped guitar! Thanks for all the useful info links.yet another juju artist for me to explore. Pure joy.
The man was and is still highly talented. The accident he had slowed down his musical career. Notwithstanding, he still plays melodious juju music
