Gil Scott Heron
Reflections
Arista 1981
This 1981 album with Gil Scott Heron was played by
us a million times. We were young and a song like
B movie made a huge impression on us. next to that
favourite song, the whole elpee was a joy to listen to.
If you never heard it, give it a try and agree ..
P.S. Nowadays we find ourselves even in a C movie.
We once thought it wouldn’t be possible.
01 – Storm music
02 – Grandma’s hands
03 – Is that jazz?
04 – Morning thoughts
05 – Gun

I’ll never forget hearing B Movie for the first time on the local radio station in the early 80s. Unfortunately we are still living..in a B Movie.
Indeed, a great, mature album from the master. Thanks very much, Moos.
Thanks Moos!
A pioneer on some levels that’s for sure. He made a strong first impression and left an interesting body of work for us to ponder. Sadly he had a tragic ending as I recall. Thanks for sharing
