This is a Nigerian record, made by a band that exists mainly
out of Camerounian musicians. Many came to Nigeria when oil
was found and economy grew. By the middle of the 80’s, many left
again. Music styles started to fuse and this LP is a good example,
it contains Highlife, Soukous, Makossa, all stirred, not shaken.
Seriously, this is great music.

  9. Good introduction on the make up the Ndongo Pecos African System Orchestra band members. A great rare West African Musical sound. I remember in the 1980’s the African High Life music was really popular all over the World, creating what seemed to be the Genre World Music. There still is Great music coming out of Africa, like You stated now they seem more mixed fused styles which is still a great music, your musical recording has the African touch. Thanks for sharing the wonder music in your post.
