I could not resist posting another album today. This one by the
African All Stars is without Sam Mangwana but with a couple of other
greats. Dizzy Mandjeku, Lokassa ya Mbongo, Kanta Nyboma and on drums
K. Moya Lotula Ringo. What a great band this is, better do not miss !
Made for the Nigerian Albarika Stores label.

    Once or twice I’ve tried to post a comment here without success. This remains a mystery and I wonder what’s going wrong …

    Anyway I think Kabuga (above) is looking for Orchestre Vévé’s “Zonga Andowe”. I believe D.J. KALIL of the WORLD PASSPORTS fame(http://ethnomusic.podomatic.com) posted that song in his Kinshasa – Nairobi Express series. It’s a great track with the typical Vévé horns creating a unique “ambiance”. Moos, I believe you will find a good copy sooner or later.
