Franco et le T.P. O.K. Jazz se Déchaînent,Edipop Production 1982

Long time no see. Le Grand Maître took a while to return
but here he is. A recording from 1982 on Edipop, 4 strong
tracks by these heroes. Josky, Dalienst and Ndombe Opetum
deliver their songs in a great way and Franco gives them the
finishing touch with his swell guitarwork, love his Princesse Kiku.
groove on this..

tracks;

1 Nostalgie
2 Princesse Kiku
3 Tantine
4 Mawe

    Our Luambo Makiadi is getting creamed here. This list has the potential of defining how quite a number of people think about who roos the roost in African Music. They even have a fancy google spreadsheet to tally the weighted votes. Please Dj Moos spread the word. We all know Fela Kuti nor Manu Dibango are not the best Africa has ever produced.

    http://www.madagascar-usa.com/2010/09/crowd-sourcing-list-of-15-most.html

    We could all say “who cares its only an internet list”

    but then it (list) goes viral and all the exposure L’OK would have gotten goes to just OK Dibango.

    Death to the novices. Its war !

    again

    NOW playing to Mobali Malamu (Noel, Franco et L’OK)
