Sam Mangwana – canta Moçambique
S.A.M. Productions 1983
With only two songs and just over 14 minutes of playingtime,
we can hardly call this Long Play. It is more like a 12″single
on 33 rotations per minute. Sam Mangwana delivers 2 very nice tracks
though which you wouldn’t like to miss. Backcover information doesn’t
give any other credits but I know it is recorded with the great Franco.
Enjoy this.
tracks;
1 Vamos para o campo
2 Moçambique Oyé

A-ha! This one!
I heard and loved ‘Vamos para o campo’ on Any Kershaw’s show many many years ago, without ever knowing what it was. No I know!
Thanks Moos!
Quality, not quantity, eh!?

Greetings, a friend recommended your blogspot, i must say i am very impressed. Good quality rip, excellent covers and very informative. As far as i’m concerned Loronix is the number one blog, but your one is on par with Loronix. Enentually when i do my own blog, i will use you and Loronix as an example. Keep up the good work.

Hey Mr DJ, isn’t it time you put up another round-up comp? :)
You’ve been posting such great stuff recently, my hard drive can’t keep up. I need a little filtering.
If you get the time, I’d really appreciate it.
Ta!
PS Can I add a ‘d’ to ‘Any’ and a ‘w’ to ‘No’ in my previous post? I don’t know what happened to my typing. Worse than ever.

I have a mint four track album (PAM 05) that has these two tracks and the same album title. It adds two tracks from an ’82 recording “Consommer Local.” I’m not set up to record my records yet, but eventually will make this available.

I believe Franco was not involved in this album.
