Os Originais do Samba – Samba é de Lei, RCA Victor 1970

Good morning Groovers, it’s been quite a while since I’ve posted
some Samba. I received mail from a friend. He wondered
why I post so little samba nowadays, and he’s right,
I don’t. The cause of it lies in the fact it’s very difficult
to find a lot of samba here in the Netherlands. As some of you might
know, I do love a good samba from time to time. Today I have an album
by the famous Originais do Samba. Maybe I can still make up to all
who missed it. It’s a very nice album from 1970 on RCA Victor.
I hope you do not have it yet, this one’s for all
you sambalovers out there.

tracks;

1 Tá chegando fevereiro
2 Vestido branco
3 O segundo cara
4 Canta comigo
5 Rio de Janeiro ( um samba só não dá )
6 Perdão com dignidade
7 É de lei
8 Eu queria era ficar sambando
9 Todo morro acordou
10 O bem e o mal
11 Prá ela
12 Sambista

I heard someone say my writing is terrible and uninspired.
I would never say that to anyone.
Just because I don’t like to talk too much. This page is about music.
Music, is not meant to talk about, it’s meant to listen to. Unlike many bloggers who just love to hear themselves bla bla bla, not me. One final thing, if you do not like what I do, just don’t come here.

I come here every day, sometimes I take some music but always I like read your notes so fresh, direct, and with so good feeling.

Here the music is excellent, but find people living in such a positive way is even better.

    Thanx.

    Great work on this blog.

Which idiot criticised your writing by the way?

If it was who I think it was, I wouldn’t worry. The guy comes across as an arrogant fool with the ego of a small planet.

Unfortunately he seems to be one of those who uses this music to make a statement about how discerning and superior he is. Unfortunately I’ve come across a lot of these types in my DJing and record dealing career. The best thing to do is leave them to wallow in their own hubris.

    Keep up the good work.
