    Dear Moos,

Happy New Year and keep your good music comin’. The best weblog with the best records, ever!!! BTW, This Franco-records is one of my all time favorites, but is it not a double-album? The second record has the wonderful ‘laissez-passer’ and three other gems.

But maybe, those songs were on another record of Franco too!

    Thanks anyway.

Sorry Kostas, I think the filename was way too long. I’ve changed that and re-upped it. Checked and approved, should really work now.

I am sorry guys but this is really just one LP and it was released in 1984. Maybe it was a re-release, I don’t know. I have seen the doubble issue too on one of the other blogs. Anyone to explain this ?

Confusing. The front is clearly (and possibly suspiciously) labeled as “POP 018”, which I thought was the catalog # for “se dechainent”. Could this possibly be an unofficial (aka pirate) edition?

Just to add another layer of confusion Moos you wrote “I have seen the double issue too on one of the other blogs”. I think I saw the same one & when I play it it has the track you label as Missiles labelled as Partage & your Partage is labelled Missiles on that blogs copy. Anyone out there know whether the tracks on Moos’s LP have the correct labelling? Yours is certainly the best sound quality & as usual a very big thanks for sharing.

    Hi again Moos,

After my last comment about track labelling I tracked down the post for the double LP.
    http://snapcrackleandpops.blogspot.com/2008/11/franco-et-josky-kiambukuta-du-tpok-jazz.html

In the comments to that post someone notes that tracks 2 & 3 are mixed up but I realise that infact your posted LP differs from his in more than that.

Your trk. 1, Missiles was labelled as trk. 2, Chacun Pour Soi by the blogger who posted the double
Your trk 3. Partage was labelled as trk. 1 Missiles
Your trk. 2 Chacun Pour Soi was labelled as trk 3 Partage.

If he messed his up I guess yours must be the correct track naming unless anyone out there knows different.
