Choc Stars – Oko Ndizo Mbongwana Emonani
Eprodis
There were some requests for Choc Stars, here they come.
“Founded in 1984 by Ben Nyamabo with musicians from Zaiko
and Langa Langa Stars, Choc Stars developed a sound that was
mellow yet passionate. The songs are generally slower than other
bands’ but the arrangements add up to cool seductive soukous.”
( Rough Guide ) Mixed by Ben, Roxy and Carlito.
By the way, can someone give us the year on this one ?
tracks;
1 Nalandaka te
2 Bayina bafinga
3 Obi

I have been looking for this album for ages, ever since it was played on by MS a choc star expert on africambiance.org
the first song has the most explosive seben ever, 4 long minutes which unfortunately end, with terrific animation.
love it love it!
