Amazing album! Be careful of the delicious sebene in the second song ‘Mwana ngalifourou’ that starts at 2:45. It bites hard and does not let go easily… Apurva from Pune, India.

OH MY GOD! You are a legend. I never thought I would see the day when Oh! maman cherie would be put out for the world to enjoy. This indeed does kick ass!
I have this on a tape cassette that I recorded from the BBC’s Andy Kershaw Radio Programme back around 1985-6 I think, and it’s pretty wrecked. I’ve longed for this day for more than 20 years for a good quality recording. The neighbours are going to get pretty sick of hearing this Album but hey they can just come by and join the party!
Today is a good day. Thank you.
Next up is a rare Album I have that I will probably never see posted on the web of Ingalo by Dorothy Masuka and Job’s Combination. I’ve ripped it from Vinyl to my iPod, perhaps you might like to upload it on you magnificent site for others to enjoy? Just a thought.
