Ngwashi N’timbo – “Musica Nova” présente,Musica Nova

Ngwashi N'Timbo, front

Ngwashi N’timbo, with ‘w’ instead of ‘u’, is not the only singer
on this marvelous album. Backsleeve doesn’t give us one
single name so we’ll have to guess. Maybe you are the one
who can help us. To whom belong the other sweet voices we
hear ? Any information on the subject is welcome, check.

tracks;

1 Banganga ya moyindo
2 Lembi
3 Zala serieuse
4 Pneu reserve
5 Moto ya train

    Now that I’m no longer under a rock in some holiday resort, I can access Global Groove fairly quickly … Thanks for this LP by the great Ngwash N’timbo. I think I can hear Ntesa Dalienst and Josky Kiambukuta co-starring in the vocals! What a team!

    Well this album was with TPOK Jazz musicians but it is very unlikely Franco played on any of these songs. But this album is so good.

    Wow, great find, Moos! I wish I had deeper knowledge of the musicians and singers. All I know is that they sound so familiar and so good.

    Thanks a bunch for this album. This album is incredible, I could really hear the TPOK Jazz orchestra. This albums is awesom.

    I got a wish. Do you happen to have this album?:
    Nguashi N’Timbo & Festival Du Zaire – Shauri Yako. (ASL Records LP, ASLP 936).
    I have been searching hi and low for this album without any luck.
