Franco et le TPOK Jazz -chez Safari Club de Bruxelles
Edipop 026, 1984

Franco, front

Let’s get april next to march and at least bring the score
to a poor 6 posts. A special one for the weekend I’d say.
This is another delightful album by le Grand Maître on the
Edipop label. POP 026 chez Safari Club de Bruxelles,
sweet vocals, simply the best instrumentation, tastefully
produced, I dare say in one word ‘indispensable’.

tracks;

1   Mbanzi ya kamundele
2   Okundji
3   Serment
4   Amour perdu

    Thank you, moos. You are enriching my world. I’ve heard a Franco LP in the past, so I was looking forward to this one when I saw the title. But after reading your description I can hardly wait to crank it and begin my new life. :-)

    @ Moos, thanks for valuable postings of Franco’s, and thanks for keeping legend of the representative of rear African Rhumba ever happened TP Ok Jazz,

    Can you search through your highly expensive libray if you have Sanza Misato by Tabuley with Afrisa International. I remember this recording or release might have been done somewhere around 1986’s. I happen to have this in audio cassette and keep listening all through, suddenly my daughter spoiled it, since then I have been hungered by it.
