Alhaji Sir Waziri Oshomah and his Oyoyo Sound International – Patience, Supremedisk 176, 1992
When I first saw this album it gave me the impression it
would be Fuji or Apala, you know, this Alhaji Sir thing.
It seemed I was wrong, the lp brings highlife and even a
reggaesong. Not really a fan of african reggae but some-
how this one doesn’t disturb. The highlife feel is dominant
and the music more melodic than expected, ..nice..
tracks;
1 Ivienagbo oyoyo three
2 Omo nonyanya krees imodibie
3 Amiemawamiegue : hakuri
4 Oghena kemhitse – oyoyo reggae

I think I see where you're coming from: the battalion of percussion thing, which doesn't do that much for me, though I know it's popular with a lot of people. But this is a wonderful surprise, instead. Lots of different polyrhythmic textures, and some tight playing. Really nice album. Thanks for sharing it!
thank you mr. Global
