Great album… I bought this cassette from a child in the Garoua Cameroon market for 500cfa. I loved it so much that I sought the vinyl for years…
the sound is serious and surprisingly sad and reflective (adjective I wouldn’t usually use for mid-80s Congolese music). I am planning to play this on my show monday to commemorate my dad’s passing.
