vinyl at last weekend’s recordfair in Utrecht. I am
thrilled to bring you this album. Have been looking
for it such a time..Do not hesitate and get it straight
away, it’s a must have if you’re into Congolese music.

    Me too Moos, I was beginning to think it didn’t exist and they were just trying to drive us mad by putting a little photo of an imaginary LP on the backs of other Afrique Danse LPs. Anyway, I mean it’s bloody wonderful. Cheers!

    Wow! Treasure! A HUGE thankyou, Moos, for sharing this. Music this great needs to be heard, not lost. Verckys and Orch. Vévé made some of the greatest, most ecstatic party music ever recorded and this is wonderful like the other Vévé you’ve already shared! Merci, Gracias, Dank u vel, asante sana etc. etc. etc.

    Please excuse my ignorance, but was Verckys a competent guitarist? Because he was certainly a great sax player.

      He was. He even played the piano (maybe an organ as well). Do not forget he was in a church choir.
