Le Simandou de Beyla – La Confiance
Editions Syliphone Conakry 1980
Today’s post concerns an album by another group from
la Republique de Guinée. It appears on the great Editions
Syliphone de Conakry and is from 1980. The record’s been
treated very good, it is still brand new. Le Simandou de Beyla
opens with an ode to the late Aboubacar Demba Camara, who
was the leader of Bembeya Jazz. Six fine songs in their favourite
themes as shown in the liner notes above, get it & spread it..
tracks;
01 – Demba
02 – Dyigui
03 – Sensenko
04 – Festival
05 – Kani ye sa
06 – Miriya

Another cool band from Guinea-Conakry, thanks so much for the share!
Thank you, Moos. Very much appreciated.
I could not find much info about Le Simandou de Beyla. Can anyone tell me more about them? What other albums of theirs would you recommend -beyond La Confiance? Were any of them part of other good bands?
I’m sorry but I don’t know the answer..
