Altijd een genot weer een van hun albums te horen en deze swingt
er lekker op los. Met Roxy Tshimpaka, Zamuangana, Muaka, Belobi,
Likinga, Bimi en N’yoka Longo, top dansmateriaal, luister zelf..
From 1981 we’ve got us this delightful album by Zaïko Langa-Langa.
Always a pleasure hearing another one of their great records and this
one rocks like usual. With Roxy Tshimpaka, Zamuangana, Muaka, Belobi,
Likinga, Bimi and N’yoka Longo, superb dancing material, listen..

Thanks for posting. I really like this one. A good period for both the quality of performances and recording quality. Maybe the band seemed uncertain in this period after a wave of defections (founding guitar prodigy Manuaku-Waku to his own Grand Zaiko Wawa, then not long before this one many core musicians such as Evoloko, Boziana, Djo Mali to Langa Langa Stars) however they completely dispel any questions of this affecting quality here. Roxy Tshimpaka kills it on guitar as usual (he’d soon leave himself for LL stars).
I’m looking forward to checking this out, Moos. I just downloaded it and had a quick preview, and it sounds great. I’ve seen other Zaiko Langa-Langa posted here before but had not taken the plunge into their discography yet, as I’m still a Congo newbie, but trying to educate myself based on your postings of Franco, Verckys, etc.
