Emeneya Emerite et Victoria Eleison – Presser Te
Rythmes et Musique 1985

King Kester Emeneya or Emeneya Emerite was here on two
earlier occasions and found some very happy listeners. One
of the other albums has a frontsleeve similar with the one we
have today. It is ‘Kimpiatu’. You may find it in the link below.
King Kester was part of Papa Wemba’s group Viva la Musica
in the seventies. He started Victoria Eleison in 1982. This LP
was originally released on Editions Vévé as Wabelo, this
version on Rythmes et Musique is titled ‘Presser Te’.

King Kester Emeneya ofwel Emeneya Emerite was hier reeds
bij twee eerdere gelegenheden en vond al vele blije luisteraars.
Een van die twee had een hoes met hetzelfde plaatje als deze,
het betreft ‘Kimpiatu’. Je vind hem in onderstaande link. King
Kester maakte deel uit van papa Wemba’s groep Viva la Musica
in de jaren zeventig en begon Victoria Eleison in 1982. Dit album
waerd aanvankelijk uitgebracht op Editions Vévé als Wabelo,

Are my ears hearing things or tracks on these original LPs sound different from the twofers FDB issued on CDs Vol 1-3?

Funny, haven’t been here in a bit and to see this!

This is the lp I picked up and was confused as i’d heard the one you posted before and the tracks were different but the cover the same. Both are great, and without you i probably wouldn’t even had picked up the lp that i have. So much gratitude for sharing with us all your many treasures. I hope others will like this one as much as i do.

Thanks to for all the compass music/trio select. I had never checked out before and it’s a new favorite, second only to Ti Paris in Haitian sounds. Lovely stuff.

    02 Jamaica
    03 Preser Te

Merci pour cette très belle musique.
