Choc-Stars – Defao de Choc-Stars

From 1988 we find this album with the Choc-Stars. Defao,
Carlito and Debaba sing, the great Roxy Tchimpaka does
the wonderful guitar parts. I’m sure many of you will love
their music, we’ve seen various requests concerning these.

Oh wow! I love this era. So sweet and subtle. Defao, Carlito and Debaba are some of the sweetest voices around and combine so well. And some incredible but restrained Roxy Tshimpaka sebenes.
Pretty sure this is not ‘official’ Choc Stars as it doesnt have Ben Nyamabo (also the cover has ‘de’ rather than ‘et’). Defao and the others here did a few of these and a couple of years after this formed his own group ‘Big Stars’.
I like track 2 and 4, the 90s are coming. I also like Defao. Have seen him once. I left after 6 hours constant show, started at 11:30 pm.
