From Brazzaville we have this album with Aurlus Mabélé.
He was the founder of Groupe Loketo and people called
him the ‘King of Soukous’. This is a record from 1991, Dally
Kimoko does the sharp soukous guitar parts.
If you have a summer dance party, don’t skip some of
these tracks, absolute dance floor killers ..
Uit Brazzaville vinden we vandaag deze plaat met Aurlus
Mabélé. Hij was de man die groupe Loketo oprichtte en
men noemde hem de ‘King of Soukous’. Dit album is uit
1991, Dally Kimoko neemt de scherpe soukous gitaar
voor z’n rekening. Als je een zomer dans
feestje hebt, vegeet dan niet enkele van deze nummers
te draaien, absolute dansvloer ‘killers’ ..

Feeling hot hot hot (sorry wrong genre). Cooking vinyl (sorry wrong label). Dally – Diblo inciendery stuff either way. PS I’ve been anonymous lately for some reason but now coming back to you live and direct. Once again thanks for all the musical joy.
With the exception of the one weepie religious track (even it’s not over the top) it’s bristling with tasty arrangements and their signature style. Lest we forget the continent is fairly fundamental after all and their wonderful voices were honed in one church or another. As were the blues, soul, reggae and many other genres. Such is life.

I have the same question. I remember a few years ago there was a password protection on the .rar archives. The password used to be posted on the website but I can’t find it. To be clear I’m trying to unzip .rar albums that I downloaded from here a couple years ago. Thanks for all you do!
If not mistaking the password must have been global groove or globalgroove ..
just tries to DL it, i got a CRC error on extract.
