From 1981 we’ve got this album with Kanda Bongo Man
today. The great Diblo Dibala takes care of the lead guitar
parts on this record. Entertaining soukous, not stirred up
too much, it has a certain mellowness over it. Pleasant
Sunday afternoon listening here ..
Hier hebben we een elpee uit 1981 met Kanda Bongo Man.
De lead gitaar partijen werden verzorgd door Diblo Dibala
op dit album. Onderhoudende soukous, niet te opzwepend
heeft deze plaat een zekere rust over zich. Lekker om op
je zondag middag te beluisteren ..

This is the 2nd album. Just after “Iyole”. And a high point for me.
Was really the start of the Paris Rumba/Soukous scene doing something quite different from what was going on in Congo
