Chuito was one of the last musicians to play traditional
Jibaro, a few others are, Ramito, German Rosario and

    Thank you for posting more Jibaro music, it’s great to see it here.

    However, I disagree with the following statement:”Chuito was one of the last musicians to play traditional Jibaro”

    Jibaro music is still alive and well and is widely performed in Puerto Rico, esp. around Christmas time. There are also a number of groups in New York & elsewhere who perform this style with great quality.

    But thanks for posting these great records, many of which have never been reissued, or are difficult to find. Chuito is one of the best!

    Jibaro music is still alive and well and is widely performed in Puerto Rico, esp. around Christmas time. There are also a number of groups in New York & elsewhere who perform this style with great quality.
