Goodmorning, I want to say thank you for the kind reactions
on yesterdays post. Great to have your support. Meanwhile
I must continue, life goes on and there’s so much to do. For
instance, I know that many of you are waiting for the re-up
of a certain lp. The amount of dead links is so enormous,
untill now I never found the energy to really start restoring.
Don’t jump yet, but in the near future I plan to take a month
or so somewhere and work on all of them. Hang in there.
For the moment being, this is another one by the Bantous.
We had some already and this one does not sound very
smooth, lots of cracks. Still, I didn’t want to keep it from
y’all. Although a bit noisy it deserves to be heard, enjoy.tracks;
1 Mwana kinkala
2 Na ndimi kuruze
3 Fifi zongela ngai
4 Wapi lokoumou ? guyPosted by Moosat 8:41 AM - Thursday July 12, 2012
It has been six days, quite a hiatus on my part. I am
going through a difficult time, sick staffmembers, work,
work, work and worst of all, last monday I had to take
my very best friend and partner to the doctor to send
him over to the eternal huntinggrounds. Sjakie was
13 years and 4 months old. Happy hunting Sjakie.
It is so strange after such a long time, coming
home in an empty house. No need to go out
in the mornings, afternoons and evenings.
I miss him very very much ! …sigh…About the lp I am posting for you today,
I tried to find some info on the artists but
didn’t find anything useful. Just play it and
tell me what you think. If you are the one to
give us the desired info, please don’t deny.tracks;
1 Omona wapi
2 Tata na sambwe
3 Mama ali ngi nasala
4 Ya yo sepela
5 Bitumba eyali mabe
6 Ba m’pokoPosted by Moosat 8:26 AM - Saturday June 30, 2012
The more I listen to Youlou Mabiala’s compositions, the
more I like them. His music gets better all the time and
is therefore predetermined to live on for ever. I am only
helping to spread the word. How about this lp with
Les Trois Frères ? Isn’t it just wonderful ? Better
don’t miss it and pass it on to whoever
likes it. I certainly do !tracks;
1 Papy
2 Ma vie, la vie

4 Petit cherie
5 Seli goPosted by Moosat 7:59 AM - Tuesday June 26, 2012
This lp contains twelve tracks, recorded in 1962, 1963,
1964 and 1966. African Fiesta plays songs by Rochereau,
Kwamy, Mujos and Pablito. I suppose it is save to say
these artists truly are who they claim to be, it seems
even this great label made an occasional error.tracks;
1 Rendez-vous chez là-bas
2 Tremendo punto
3 Faux millionnaire
4 Belinda
5 Fiesta kombo ya sika

Good evening groovers, welcome at the global. What
have we got cooking for you today ? A Nigerian collector
on ‘Soundpoint’, which was a sublabel for Afrodisia. It con-
tains various Congolese tracks, some known and some
unknown, speaking strictly from the GG point of view. Eight
of our beloved groups with eight excelent songs. The label
of this lp speaks of 1983 while the backsleeve says 1977,
quite a difference so I suggest it was first released in 1977
and re-issued in 1983, what do you think ? How ever it is,
don’t miss catching this fish, it’s a tasty one..tracks;

Here’s a record we’ve all been waiting for. It’s the no.10
in ‘african’s 360.000 series. Maître Franco de mi Amor,
funny name like this, appears once again and with an
important album. I saw that Bolingo’s ‘african’ discography
was also still searching for it’s cover, well here it is. It has
a green version of ‘african’s label which is normally orange.
Another 10 of his wonderful compositions to complete
our Franco collections a bit more.
Better don’t miss..tracks;

Ambiance Congo already offered the opportunity to listen
to ‘Esther’, track #2 on this lp, in his februari 26 radioshow
this year, thanks dj Daudi ! Now here’s the entire album for
you to capture. On Côte d’Ivoire’s Badmos label, don’t
know the year on this one, if you do, please tell us.
Meanwhile, get it, play it and pass it on..tracks;
1 Koumba
2 Erther
3 MakendenguéPosted by Moosat 8:10 AM - Sunday May 27, 2012
I think it’s good fun making these singles compilations so I did another.
Again seven singles and their b-sides which is always the second part
of the song. Labels in chronological order; Editions Ndenge Moko,
Editions Sakumuna, Bana Moja, Editions Sakumuna, Edition Diabim,
Bana Moja, Editions Ntimbo, some are Kenyan and some are Congolese.
The last track is pretty false towards the end due to decentered middle hole.
It happens more with singles, they spin faster than lp’s so it gives more
disturbance when wobbling. Steady or wobbly,
enjoy listening to these Congolese tunes.tracks;
1 Orchestre Bella-Bella – Na wela te 1
2 Orchestre Bella-Bella – Na wela te 2
3 Orchestre Vévé – Okendeke malamu 1

Some 45’s for a change, I found a bunch on the fair.
Made you a folder with seven 7″ singles and their

waiting for a similar project, soon to come. Enjoy.tracks;
