quite reasonable so here it is for everybody to grab. It isn’t

Today groovers, we’ve got us another record by Master Bob Akwaboa.
We had a few already, four to be exact. You can find them by using
our search-bar. This one sounds very warm and was recorded in Ghana
but mastered in Cotonou, Benin. On this album he is accompanied by
the great trumpeteer E.T. Mensah, we do not hear him that much though.
As usual they did not give a year of release but somehow it seems to be
the youngest of the five. If you can lighten up this matter, please do.
Meanwhile just get it, listen to it and pass on copies to your friends.
oh eh, on side b the middle hole is off-centered so towards the
end of the album it gets a tiny bit false I’m afraid.tracks;
01 – Hwemibi nako
02 – Nsamanfoo
03 – Kwabena amoa
04 – Anoma a oreko
05 – Na mennim
06 – Owuo amma manka
– Medo wobiPosted by Moosat 11:02 AM - Friday February 20, 2015

Good morning groovers, what’s up..I tell you what, it’s John Holt.
A love I can feel contains some of the finest reggae songs I ever
heard. It was produced by the great sir Cocksone Dodd on Studio
One in 1970. This is a Trojan release though and came out in 1974.
The label states ’74 and sleeve ’76, you tell me which one it was.
One way or the other, wonderful stuff, get it & spread it..tracks;
01 – A love I can feel
02 – Do you want me
03 – Make up
04 – Love divine
05 – Nobody else
06 – Why can’t I touch you
07 – Tonight
08 – If it don’t work out
09 – Stranger in love
10 – It’s alright
11 – Your arms reaching out for me
12 – My heart is gonePosted by Moosat 11:02 AM - Thursday February 19, 2015
I was 19 years old when this came out, I remember so well.
The deep underground funky sound of Johnny Guitar Watson
made a huge impression and I must say, I still love it. Back
then we were hanging out in dark smokey seller discotheques
and youthcenters. When listening to it again I can see images
of those days, the girls, the atmosphere, damn, good thoughts.
Let’s take a dive back into the seventies and play this sucker
till we can’t take it no more, the vinyl got hurt a tiny bit over
the years and has a few jumps in the last track, sorry ‘bout
being so careless..tracks;
01 – A real mother
02 – Nothing left to be desired
03 – Your love is my love
04 – The real deal
05 – Tarzan
06 – I wanna thank you
07 – Lover JonesPosted by Moosat 12:39 AM
