This is Frederick Nathaniel hibbert, better known as Toots
Hibbert from Toots & the Maytals. The elpee we’ve got today
has been released in many forms. Island originally came with
it in 1973. My copy concerns the 1976 re-release. It has the
same tracks as the original one. Some other versions contain
more songs. As the title suggests the reggae is slightly funky,
typical ’73 sound from the caribbean island when a lot of soul
was made . Always loved Funky Kingston, get it and spread it..Dit is Frederick Nathaniel hibbert, beter bekend als Toots
Hibbert van Toots & the Maytals. De plaat die we vandaag
hebben is in veel verschillende uitgaven verschenen. Island
kwam er eerst mee in 1973. Mijn kopie is een heruitgave uit
1976. Hij bevat dezelfde nummers als de eerste. Sommige

I bought it in 1982 and played it a whole lot at party’s in those
days. Today I pulled it from the shelf again, it would still do a
good job.

van begin tot eind..From the first day I had it, this was one of my favourite collectors.
Been playing it so many I can dream the songs. Funny I never got to
post it yet. It is from 1979, just like yesterday’s post. Probably one

enkele omwentelingen waard zijn. geproduceerd door Fatman..My old Reggae Monster Originals compilations already contained two of
these tracks. Eventually I think it was about time to post the whole album.
For an artist of his quality he never became really famous. Ten decent
songs on yellow vinyl from CSA Records certainly worth a couple of spins.
produced by Fatman..tracks ;
01 – Automatic boom
02 – Gimme gimme sensemillia
03 – Loving feeling
04 – Don’t cry

07 – Yu too su-su-su-su
08 – Me no copy
09 – It’s you I’m talking to
