We had about ten of his records untill now but Monguito we
can’t have too much. With his unique voice one can always
recognize him instantly. He is one of the main interpretors
of son montuno and this 1982 slice of hot vinyl contains six
of those. With another great sleeve by José Expósito.

participation of his cousin Rene Scull and his sister Estella,
both vocals. Also with Joseito Nuñez ( ‘Canta montero’ ).
Cuba’s most famous tres player is back at the GG, his
album ‘Primitivo’ is still on number two of most
downloaded lp’s at the Global Groove.
Recorded in 1947 and 1948, released

Yesterday at work a guy walked in with this here single, he visited
Global Groove and thought,” there’s a good place for that old single”,
and here it is, ” never heard it”, he said, ” I bought it for it’s cover”.
