Today I tried my new cleaning tool for vinyl first time and
I think it’s done the job quite well. The record looks very
clean and sounds the same, in short, it’s been approved.Five artists, of which we’ve seen only one so far, share this
album. Two songs each, one on every side of the album.
Only Anibal Velasquez appeared here before, the others
were new to me when I first found this record. They are
very welcome with their warm tropical sound, I’d say
do not hesitate and listen to these great Colombians.tracks;
10 – Anibal Velasquez y su Conjunto – DerrumbePosted by Moosat 8:52 AMCategories

Okay, let’s do something out of the ordinary and post another
lp from the same series. I noticed 360.104 was not here as well.
Just being in the good mood by listening to le grand maître.
Here’s volume 1. Nothing else to say, get it and spread it..tracks;
01 – Na loba loba pampa te
02 – Tolinganaki toboyanaki
03 – Kamusengele
04 – MonzoPosted by Moosat 10:25 PM - Sunday August 16, 2015
When I found this lp it pleased me in several ways. Finding
another album on the ‘african’ label in the series 360.000,
and finding another Franco record is always a joy. Six great
songs to add to our collection of Congolese treasures never
fails to brighten up my day. As usual I have nothing to tell
about this lp except for the fact it’s a jewel. Okay I can say
it is from 1977 but that’s all. You’ll have to collect all extra
information using the world wide web. Enjoy listening..tracks;
01 – Mbongo
02 – Lisolo ya adamo na nzambe
03 – Lotambe
04 – Badjekate
05 – Tambwe luntadila
06 – Moleka okoniokolo ngai ntina ?Posted by Moosat 4:07 PM - Thursday August 13, 2015
It’s front cover alone is worth a posting of this vallenato
record. They all look as if they’re angry with the fotographer.
The whole Sarmiento family seems to be present, dressed
in their sunday’s clothing and damned serious in what they
do. I think this frontsleeve is both funny and beautyful.
I’m not sure if the whole bunch is also performing here,
including the younger brothers. One way or the other,
the vallenato is of the purest kind and sounds just
the way I like it, how about you ? Can you dig it ?tracks;
01 – Necesito un acordeon
02 – Te llevo en el alma
03 – No llores mujer
04 – Mi pena y mi ternura
05 – La pruebita de amor
06 – Rio padillo
07 – Acordeon vallenato
08 – Nosotros
09 – Comiendo del cuento
10 – El aparatoPosted by Moosat 8:07 AMCategories

Goodmorning, it’s been a busy week with little activity
here at the GG. Today it’s sunday and finally a quiet day.
The record we have is one I had waiting for some time now.
It is one that’s got a centerhole which is not in the middle
of the vinyl. My turntable does not have a removable pin
so at first I didn’t know how to get it straight. Recently
someone gave me the idea of placing another mat on top
of the first one so the lp gets up a little higher. This way
we’re able to center the record and record it properly.Let’s see, the African Brothers International Band of Ghana
always finds a happy listener and I’m sure today’s album
forms no exception in that perspective. It is from 1982
on Jay Jay Records. ‘Take the Message’ is it’s title but
I have no idea what the message is. If you understand
the lyrics, can you reveal please, we’d all be eternally
grateful so thanks in advance. What I do know is that
I love the music, no need to understand the language
to be able to enjoy it. Get and spread as usual..tracks;
01 – JJ
02 – Adu twumwam
03 – Kwaata
04 – AmammrePosted by Moosat 11:14 AMCategories

inside. What a shame, time spoiled but not to worry, I decided
to rip a cd with another famous album by Jackson. O Cabra da
