How long has it been since I posted music from Mali ?
Too long I’d say. This is the Rail Band, we had several

I like number two the best, with Mory Kante and Salif
Keita both doing their part. Enjoy listening..tracks;
01 – Kankoun
02 – Tiramakan
03 – Soyomba
04 – Soundiata ( nouvelle version )Posted by Moosat 7:48 AM - Thursday April 16, 2015

Good day groovers, been busy this week, hardly
time to post as you noticed. Today however I’ve
got something special for y’all. Andres Landero’s
records are very hard to find so I’m extra happy
to be able to bring you this one today. Candelazos
Curro ‘en Acordeon’ vol. 9, it plays almost perfect.
Shame about the pops in track #4 but further it’s
in quite good condition. I guess we should be
happy finding his work at all. Landero’s music
is very hot to my humble opinion, if you don’t
know it I suggest a few spins at least to
find out..enjoy doing so..tracks;

Now that’s quite some time ago, we had a bunch of
both their albums. Today Tabu Ley and Mbilia Bel
appear together on this 1985 record. Their work is
always worth at least a couple of spins and so
does this one. The album is in mint condition
so it plays perfectly well, listen yourself..tracks;
01 – La beauté d’une femme
02 – Ma fille
03 – Sina mambo
04 – Nalingi yo linga ngaiPosted by Moosat 11:07 AM - Sunday April 5, 2015
Hello good morning, Obeeyie should be meaning something
like, All will be okay, if I’m not mistaking. Even if I do, all will
be just fine. This is a record by Kwadwo Donkoh of whom we
never had any work yet. Backsleeve says, “Diplomat turned
Musician”, okay, very nice career move I’d say. Kwadwo
should have made it much sooner cuz his music is
very cool, with prominent bass guitar and awesome
rhythms, I’m an instant fan..listen..tracks;
01 – Obeeyie / E go good
02 – Enti yede saa / Na so ego be
03 – Obiara wo ne office / Everybody get him office
04 – Ahooya / Skin pain

Hello, this week it is almost like I’m being cursed with
something, every time I pick a record to rip, it is being
scratched or it fails to play good in some other way.
It got on top of me and I can’t seem to get rid of it.
Today I failed to record another album, now
I’m posting an lp I recorded some time
ago. It is an attempt to leave
behind the bad vibrations.
Have a nice weekend.tracks;

Good morning, today’s post concerns an album
from Haïti. The compas of Combite Creole flows
through your speakers in a very smooth and mellow
style, it has a certain coolness that fits your sunday
afternoon. Rodrigue Milien and Toto Necessité
were both part of Combite Creole, I am not sure
if Toto is participating on this album however.
We hear two voices but his name does not
appear on the backsleeve. One way or the,
other, Rodrigue Milien is here,
enjoy listening..tracks;
01 – Coutt bas residence

Hello groovers, it is nice to see so many happy reactions
on Ghanaian music. I decided to post this one by the African
Brothers, it has been waiting for the opportunity to find it’s way
to you for some time now. Nana Ampadu I and his African
Brothers made a big pile of records and I’m glad we have a
bunch of them already. This one on Philips is a very nice
album, great music, great cover, enjoy it..p.s. the centre hole is not in the middle
at the b-side of the lp, so it gets a tiny
bit false towards the end of the album.tracks;
01 – Obiara wo nea otumi no
02 – Ankore hunu
03 – Onyame wo m’afaPosted by Moosat 10:23 AMCategories

This Ramblers album from 1971 contains both covers and
songs by Jerry Hansen himself. A sweet mixture of their
own and international hits. The Ramblers were here on 4
other occasions, this is their fifth contribution to the GG.
I love every record I heard untill now and this one forms
no exception, Jerry Hansen is the man that never
disappoints. Get it and spread it,
