Altijd een genot weer een van hun albums te horen en deze swingt
er lekker op los. Met Roxy Tshimpaka, Zamuangana, Muaka, Belobi,
Likinga, Bimi en N’yoka Longo, top dansmateriaal, luister zelf..

A group we haven’t seen yet here at the GG is this one. l’Orchestre

Nog twee maanden geduld en dan is er weer een platenbeurs
in de Jaarbeurs van Utrecht. Ik kijk er nu reeds naar uit mijn goede
vriend uit Frankrijk te treffen. Hij is de man die me deze zeldzame
elpees bezorgt. Na zijn reis naar Congo bracht hij vele mooie dingen
mee terug. Zo komt het DJ Daudi, dat ik platen als deze kan posten.
In december 2009 hadden we een andere van deze groep en vandaag
zijn les Supers Boboto du Congo terug met dit pracht exemplaar..

Another two months and we’ll have us the next recordfair in Utrecht.
I am already looking forward to it cuz that’s the place I use to meet with
my good friend from France who delivers us these rare breauties. He is
the reason DJ Daudi, that I am able to bring you albums like this. In 2009,
december we had us another of their records, les Supers Boboto du Congo
are back today with this fine slice of vinyl. Get it & spread it as usual..

Het is de eerste keer dat ik dit label zie, Grand Zeer uit Brazzaville.
De band hebben we wel eerder laten passeren, le Peuple heeft
hier reeds een stuk of zes albums gehad. Bezetting van de groep
wisselt kennelijk nog wel eens, enige vaste waarde lijkt Kosmos
Moutouari te zijn. Hoe dan ook, wederom een heerlijke plaat.
De hoes is flink versleten maar de muziek klinkt nog prima.

It is my first encounter with this label, Grand Zeer from Brazzaville.
The band has passed by on several earlier occasions though, le Peuple
was here some six times before. The group’s line-up seems to vary
evry time, only one appearing on a regular basis is Kosmos Moutouari.
One way or the other, this is another beauty not to miss out on.
Its sleeve is quite worn out but the record sounds just fine.

Hij was voetballer van 1967 tot 1970 en speelde bij clubs als
Vita Club uit Kinshasa en het nationale Léopards du Zaïre. Ook
speelde hij bij twee clubs uit Brussel waaronder Charleroi. Maar
vooral maakte Mayaoula Mayoni naam als schrijver en zanger
voor le T.P O.K. Jazz van meester Franco. Op deze elpee vinden
we hem samen met de African All Stars onder bezielende leiding
van Mâitre Dizzy Mandjekou. Ook Syran Mbenza, Lokassa ya
Mbongo, Bento, Jean, Moya Ringo en Asi Kapela zijn van de partij.

He was professional soccer player from 1967 till 1970 and played
with clubs like Vita Club from Kinshasa and the national team
Léopards du Zaïre but also with two clubs from Bruxelles among
which Charleroi. However we especially know Mayaoula Mayoni
as composer singer from Franco’s T.P.O.K. Jazz. On this album we
find him together with the African All Stars led by the great Mâitre
Dizzy Mandjekou. Also present were Syran Mbenza, Lokassa ya
Mbongo, Bento, Jean, Moya Ringo and Asi Kapela, give it a spin..

Kiland is terug, dit keer niet met Orchestre Mabatalaï maar met
Orchestre Mokito. Hij heeft wel de titel Zaïre Promotion 2000,
net als de anderen, dit is volume 4. Ik ben een liefhebber van
zijn gitaarspel, de cavacha tokkelt heerlijk door zoals we dat
het liefst horen. Pak hem en deel hem als gebruikelijk..

Kiland is back, this time not with Orchestre Mabatalaï but with
Orchestre Mokito. The album does have the title Zaïre Promotion
2000 just like the others though. This is volume 4. I’m a sucker for
his guitar play, the cavacha is pluckin’ sweet and rattles along nicely,
just the way we like. Get it and spread it as usual..

Uit het zelfde jaar en van de zelfde platenmaatschappij als
voorgaande elpee komt deze. De muzikanten die erop spelen
komen zelfs grotendeels overeen. Zanger-componisten van het
eerste uur, Joe Mpoyi en Lukoki Diatho, hebben beiden een uit-
gereide staat van dienst. Kijk eens op de achterkant van de hoes
door erop te klikken, hun carrieres en oeuvres staan er chronolo-
gisch vermeld en liegen er niet om. Een album om niet te missen..

From the same year and from the same record company as latter
album comes this one. Even the musicians are mainly the same ones.
Singer-composers Joe Mpoyi and Lukoki Diatho both have an extensive
history of groups they joined. Take a look at the backsleeve by clicking
on it, their careers and oeuvres are mentioned in chronological order.
Both of them are quite impressive, a record not to be missed..

Nigeria en trok verder naar Côte d’Ivoire om te werken met
Editions Maïkano alwaar deze plaat tot stand kwam. Op dit
album spelen Maître Dizzy Mandjeku, Dally Komoko, Lokassa
ya Mbongo, Ringo Moya en een aantal andere bijzondere
muzikanten aan zijn zijde. De hoes heeft het over 1982 en
het label over 1981, hoe dan ook, alweer veel luistergenot
met de man met de gouden stem..

Early eighties Tchico packed his suitcases, left Nigeria and
moved on to Côte d’Ivoire to work with Editions Maïkano
where this here record was produced. We hear Maître Dizzy
Mandjeku, Dally Kimoko, Lokassa ya Mbongo and Ringo
Moya and a number of other great musicians by his side.
The sleeve states it is from 1982 and the label 1981, one
way or the other, more listening pleasure guaranteed
by the man with the golden voice..

Goeiemorgen, vandaag hebben we een wat minder bekende plaat,
Youlou Mabiala, Franco’s schoonzoon, met de zangeres Judith Maïsso
en zijn band Kamikaze Loningisa op het label van Norbert Miab. Franco
gaf Gilbert Youlou Mabiala de naam ‘le Prince’ toen Youlou met
zijn dochter Helene Luambo, ook wel Mama Leni, trouwde. lees

Goodmorning, today we’ve got an lesser known album by le Prince
Youlou Mabiala, Franco’s son in law, with singer Judith Maïsso and
his group Kamikaze Loningisa on Norbert Miab’s label. It was franco
who crowned Gilbert Youlou Mabiala, ‘le Prince’ in the time he
married Franco’s daughter Helene Luambo, also known as Mama

Franco presenteert Lita Bembo Nkolo Kwanga. Lita Bembo
is bij de meeste bekend van zijn Orchestre Stukas maar deze
plaat verschijnt onder zijn eigen naam. De stevige cavacha
van ‘showman’ Lita Bembo spreekt enorm aan door de
uitgepakte sebene en Lita’s krachtige manier van zingen.
Los van de kraakjes, een absolute aanrader..

Franco présente Lita Bembo Nkolo Kwanga. Lita Bembo is
known to most of us for his orchestre Stukas, however the
album we have today goes under his own name. The firm
cavacha of ‘showman’ Lita Bembo stands out for its extended
sebene and Lita’s powerful way of singing. Part from the crackle
